Sandra Steele is 52 and spends up to 12 hours a day in her kitchen with a glass of red wine, writing.
Her creative process involves making copious notes on lavatory paper.
And she likes to work when she’s moody or angry.
She’s vaguely related to some obscure writer and has attended several creative writing MA courses but so far has failed to finish any.
She enjoys the company of cats and knits loo-seat covers in her spare time.
She’s currently working on a tragic comedy that her partner ridicules.
Her poem ‘The last Tampon’ has been nominated for the Barmouth WI annual cup for poetry.
She hopes one day to make a good living from her writing so she never has to worry about the amount of red wine she needs to drink to lessen the feeling of isolation she experiences on a daily basis.
