a competitive interlude

We interrupt the February flow of The Pygmy Giant to bring you news of a spring competition. It’s been a while since we pitted you writers against each other, so roll up your sleeves and get stuck in, for glory! honour! and a prize to the value of five English pounds!

In honour of the approaching month of March, we want you to write us a piece of fiction or poetry entitled “Marching“. Interpret it as you like. The word limit is a challenging 500 words.

Label your entry ‘Marching’ please, and send it to thepygmygiant@gmail.com before 12 noon on Saturday 26 March. One entry each.

God speed!
