Billy Shoe wondered why life was so hard. Sure he’d ‘made it’. He had six cars, three houses, a private jet, and his own IT consultancy. But something was still missing. On most days he remembered his childhood dream of becoming a cowboy, and how that dream had been smashed the day his older brother told him John Wayne was gay, and how that must make Billy gay as well. Billy later found out John Wayne was not gay. By then it was too late for Billy to become a cowboy. But Billy wondered if he still had time to become gay.
